The Inland Swap Top Lap Grinder
uses the innovative Inland 'Swap Top' housing and powerful
motor unit with a Flat Lap upper housing to create a very economical
yet powerful diamond disc grinder. The Inland 6" Lap
Machine comes with four 6" lap discs in the most common
grits - 170, 325, 600 and 1200 diamond grit, plus a polishing
pad.
This is a heavy-duty lap machine
with a powerful variable speed motor that allows you to adjust
the speed for any task. A water drip system applies water
directly to the lap disc and has a variable-flow adjustment to
suit any work. The lap discs are heavy 40 mil thick metal
discs with bonded diamond grit and they attach to a heavy plastic
master lap disc for increased stability.
Replacement laps are also available
in 8 different grits from 60 to 3000 diamond grit. An optional
conversion kit is also available for the Swap Top Lap Machine,
allowing you to convert the lap machine it into a router style
diamond grinder.

Inland Diamond Lap Discs

Each lap disc is made of heavy
40 mil thick metal disc with bonded diamond grit. The laps
have a 1/2" center hole and will fit Inland Flat Lap Grinders
in addition to many other flat lapidary grinders.
The diamond laps are available
in 6" or 8" diameter and come in eight different grit
levels from 60 to 3000 grit. Buy any 3 or more discs to
save.

Inland Lap Grinder Accessories
Polishing Pads,
Polishing Compound
Master Lap Base, Swap Top Lap Arbor Nut
Inland polishing pads are made
of heavy wool felt and are available in either 6" or 8"
diameter. The pads are sold in a 3-Pack. Inland polishing
compound is a 4 ounce jar of optical grade cerium oxide powder.
The Arbor Nut Assembly attaches
the lap to the master lap base and secures them onto the shaft
with an allen set screw. The Arbor Nut Assembly fits all
the Inland 6" and 8" lap machines or other lap machines
with a 5/16" shaft.
The Inland face shield is 11"
x 8-1/2" and fits all Inland router grinders and Inland
lap machines. The face shield includes a mounting bracket
which attaches easily to the back of the machine. |
