Diamond ring saw which is the
top-of-the-line in professional level rings saws! The unique
5-3/4" ring blade has diamonds on all sides (not just on
the front) so the blade cuts in any direction. Plus the
seamless stainless steel ring blade is ridged and doesn't 'flex'
or 'float' like bandsaw blades. Powerful 1/5 horse power
motor. Saw has convenient snap-open side housing for easy
access to blade, belt and motor. Large 18" x 12"
work surface is easily removed for cleaning. Includes
standard 5-3/4" diamond blade and DVD instruction video.
The Taurus 3 saw has a new hand-held
feature, that allows you to remove saw from the saw case for
hand scroll work. Improved heavy-duty drive system provides
reduced maintenance. Saw has an oversized 18" x 12"
work surface, flip-up face shield and built-in light system.
The Taurus 3 saw comes with a standard ring blade mounted on
the saw. An optional 'Mega Blade' exclusively for the Taurus
3, is super heavy-duty - designed specifically for thick plate
glass, tile and stone. An optional Snap-Apart blade is
also available for inserting blade into a drilled hole, to allow
cutting without side entry cuts.
These
Taurus 3 Ring Saws are brand new in factory sealed boxes.

Accessory Kit for the Taurus
3 diamond ring saw adds increased versatility to the powerful
saw The kit includes the same items as the Taurus II Accessory
Kit, except for the face shield and spot light, which are incorporated
into the basic case design on the Taurus 3 saw.
Kit includes, straight-edge guide,
10 degree and 45 degree miter guides (for lamp edges and box
corners), 30-60-90 degree cut-off triangle guides, and circle
guide (up to 15-3/4" diameter circles). An instruction
video is also included covering use of the accessory kit items,
plus it has a section on using the optional "separating
blade".

Taurus 3 Ring Saw Blades
Taurus 3 diamond ring saw blades
are 5-3/4" in diameter seamless diamond coated blades. The
standard Taurus diamond ring saw blade is .070"/80 grit
for use on glass, tile and stone. All Taurus 3 ring saw
blades include replacement grommets (2 orange grommets in each
blade pack).
The separating 'snap-apart' .070"/80
blade allows you to insert the blade into a drilled hole.
This lets you cut a piece out of the middle of material without
having an 'entry-cut' from the edge.
The heavy-duty 'Mega Blade' is
designed specifically for the Taurus 3 saw for improved cutting
of fused glass, thick plate glass, ceramic tile, porcelain tile,
and stone tile. The Mega Blad has a tear drop shape with
the point facing inward.
The Slim "jeweler's"
blade is .050"/80 grit is designed for very detailed, fine
cutting work. The slim blade thickness of .050" is
about 30% thinner than the standard Taurus ring blades.
The Slim/Fine 'Dichro' blade
is .050"/120 grit is designed for intricate work with less
waste and very fine grit for less chipping. It is intended
for use on dichroic glass, irridescent glass, jewlery, etc.
The heavy-duty 'Speed Blade'
is designed for aggressive cutting of fused glass, thick plate
glass, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, and stone tile. The
Speed Blade is the "inverted Mega Blade" with the point
of the tear drop shape facing outward. This blade includes
the flocked belt, as the standard belt will not handle the blades
sharp tip.
The Slicer Blade is .040"/100
grit is a flat blade that is designed for repeated foward and
backward cutting. The blade is designed for use with the
'Super Slicer' attachment. It is also recommended that
the flocked belt be used with this blade.
Note: The Taurus 2 and
Taurus 3 ring saw blades are interchangeable, with two exceptions.
While the Standard, Slim and Snap-apart blades are exactly the
same for both saw models, the replacement grommets included with
the blade pack differ for the Taurus 2 and Taurus 3 style blade
pack. Also, the heavy-duty 'Mega Blade', 'Speed Blade',
and 'Slicer Blade' are only available for the Taurus 3 model
ring saw and will not fit on the Taurus 2 model saw.
Mix any quantity of 3 or more
Taurus blades for lower price. Be sure to use the "Mix"
price buttons. If an incorrect price button is used for
the quantity purchased, the price will be adjusted appropriately
when the order is processed.

Taurus 2 Ring Saw Blades
Taurus II diamond ring saw blades
are 5-3/4" in diameter seamless diamond coated blades. The
