A Diamond Grinder has diamond
coated grinding heads for grinding glass, stained glass, ceramics,
ceramic tile, porcelain, porcelain tile, stone, slate, limestone,
marble, granite or fiberglass. The diamond grinders have
coolant systems which apply coolant to the grinding head.
Grinder coolant is generally used for lubrication. Although
water can be used for lubrication, grinder coolant provides a
smother grind and extends the life of the diamond heads.
Replacement and optional grinding
heads for the diamond grinders are also available in different
sizes, shapes and grits - see Diamond

Inland GTO Diamond Grinder
The Inland GTO Diamond Grinder
is a powerful yet economical diamond grinder. An excellent
grinder for new artists yet powerful enough to be used by professionals.
The GTO is the base model of the popular Inland "Swap Top"
series of diamond grinders and shapers.
Optional attachments are also
available to convert it into a disc style 'Lap Grinder'.
The router style grinder has a variable speed motor and is designed
for use in many different crafts including glass, stained glass,
tile, ceramics and lapidary stone work with material thicknesses
up to 5/8".
The Inland Model 10652 GTO Grinder
has a powerful variable speed motor with a standard 5/16"
shaft and a large 9" x 11" work surface. The
work surface is reversible to reduce wear. The router grinder
comes with a versatile 3/4" router style diamond grinder
head (standard 100 grit diamonds) and many optional router heads
are available from 1/4" to 1" in various different
diamond grits.
An optional conversion kit is
also available to convert the GTO router grinder into a Disc
Lap Grinder using either 6" or 8" discs.

The Inland Aero grinder has 'Touch Top' which conveniently
turns on grinder when surface is pressed down, or the switch
can be set to manual on/off.
